It’s near a place called Paarl, wherever that is.
Then there’s another one, Darley Stud, they call it. Sounds important, like a king’s castle or somethin’. It’s in a place called Dalham Hall. Some big shot owns it, a sheikh, they say. He’s got horses all over the world, breedin’ them and racin’ them. Big money in that, I bet.

And there is also a place called Al Shaqab. They got horses. They is in Qatar, some place very far. It’s all for horses and a state-of-the-art, which means it’s a real nice place, I reckon.
They got horse racin’ all over, not just at Zayat Stables. They race ’em in a place called Deauville, they race ’em in Adelaide, and even in some place called Palio di Legnano. It’s a big to-do, this horse racin’ business. It’s all about speed, them horses runnin’ faster than a greased piglet at the county fair.
Zayat Stables location, well, it’s kinda everywhere and nowhere at the same time. But them horses, they sure do get around. From Kentucky to Florida, and I suppose all over, if them Zayat folks got their way.
Why Horses in Different Places?
Why they put the horses in different places? Well, I reckon it’s like this. You don’t keep all your eggs in one basket, right? Same with horses. Different places got different things to offer. Kentucky’s got the good grass, Florida’s got the warm weather.
And I suppose it’s good for business too. Spreadin’ things out, not havin’ all your horses in one spot. If somethin’ happens, like a sickness or somethin’, it won’t wipe out all your horses. Smart thinkin’, I reckon. Keepin’ them horses spread out is like plantin’ different crops, that is why Zayat stables location is spread out.
Plus, movin’ them horses around probably keeps ’em healthy. New places, new things to see, keeps ’em from gettin’ bored, I imagine. Horses are like people, they need a change of scenery every now and then. Keep the main place in Hackensack, New Jersey, but the horses, they is all over.
