Okay, so, Week 16 of the NFL, right? Gotta make those picks! I spent a good chunk of my Sunday diving into this, and here’s how it went down.

First, I pulled up all the matchups. Just the basic schedule. I like to start clean, no preconceived notions, you know?
Getting the Lay of the Land
- Opened a fresh spreadsheet. Gotta keep things organized.
- Listed all the games, home team versus away team. Simple enough.
Diving into the Stats
Next, I started researching. This is where it gets time-consuming, but it’s also kinda fun. I go through a whole bunch of websites
- First I check Injury Reports.
- Looked at recent performance. Not just wins and losses, but how they played.
- Compared head-to-head records.
- Then finally I scrolled through some expert opinions.
I jot down notes for each team, little reminders for myself. Strengths, weaknesses, key players who might be out, that sort of thing. It’s messy, but it’s my process.
Making the (Tough) Decisions
After all that research, it’s time to actually, you know, make the picks. This is the hardest part, honestly. Some games are total coin flips.
For each game, I weigh all the info I’ve gathered. I try to factor in everything – injuries, home-field advantage, recent performance, even the weather sometimes!

Then, I make my pick. And I write down a quick sentence or two explaining why I made that pick. This helps me keep track of my reasoning, and it’s fun to look back later and see if I was right (or horribly, horribly wrong).
Finalizing and Sharing
Once I’ve gone through every game, I double-check everything. Make sure I didn’t accidentally pick the same team twice or something silly like that.
Finally, all done! It’s a good feeling, having all those picks locked in. Now it’s time to sit back, watch the games, and see how my “expert” analysis holds up. Sometimes I’m spot on, sometimes I’m way off. That’s part of the fun, I guess!
