Okay, so yesterday was all about getting ready for the Sunday race. And let me tell you, it was a whole process! It’s not just jumping in the car and going, oh no.

First thing, I checked the weather. Seriously, you gotta do this. Rain, shine, scorching heat – it all changes how you set up the car and even what tires you use. Looks like it’s gonna be a bit overcast, but hopefully no rain. Fingers crossed!
Prepping The Car:
- Tire pressure: This is huge. I spent a good hour just tweaking the pressures, front and back, trying to find that sweet spot for the track conditions. Too high, and you’re bouncing all over the place. Too low, and you’re dragging.
- Fuel: Gotta make sure I have enough, obviously. Calculated how much I’d burn per lap, added a little extra for safety, and filled ‘er up.
- Checked all the fluids: Oil, coolant, brake fluid… the works. Topped everything off to make sure nothing goes wrong mid-race.
- Basic Once-Over: I gave the car a good look-over, checking for any loose bolts, anything that looked worn out, or just… off. You don’t want any surprises when you’re pushing it to the limit.
Figuring The Best Path
I used the materials for race. I have been trying to find the best racing line, finding the balance.
The most difficult part is finding the balance between being the fastest and taking a * you get too aggressive, you might get a penalty.
I made the notes during the driving and reviewed them.

It was a long day, but by the time I packed up, I felt pretty good. Car’s ready, I’m (mostly) ready… now it’s just about getting a good night’s sleep and showing up ready to go on Sunday!
