Okay, so I wanted to check out who was really running things in the NBA this past season, thinking ahead to 2024-2025, you know? See who the top dogs were.
Getting Started
First thing, I just popped open my laptop. Had a bit of downtime and the thought just kinda hit me. Who actually led the league in scoring? Who was nailing those threes? Stuff like that.
So, I opened up my web browser, nothing fancy, just the usual one I use. Went straight to the search bar. My first thought was pretty basic, just typed in something like “nba league leaders 2024”. Hit enter.
Digging Through Info
Got a bunch of results back, naturally. Lots of sports sites, official NBA pages, you name it. I tend to skip the ads and the first few links sometimes, looking for something that looks like a straightforward stats page. ESPN or the official NBA site are usually my go-to’s, they feel more reliable.
I clicked around a bit. Found a page that broke it down pretty well. Had different categories I could look at. Points, assists, rebounds, shooting percentages… the whole deal.
I was mainly curious about scoring first. Who put up the most points total? Saw the name Shai Gilgeous-Alexander pop up. Yeah, saw he racked up a ton, something like over 2,400 points for the season. Made a mental note of that.
Then I thought about three-pointers. Always fun to see who the best shooters are. My mind immediately went to Steph Curry, ’cause, you know, it’s Steph Curry. Looked him up, yeah, he made a whole heap of threes, over 300 again. But then I looked specifically for the highest percentage. Wasn’t Steph this time, actually. Saw the name Seth Curry topping that list. His percentage was way up there, like 45.6%. That kinda surprised me a little, but numbers don’t lie, right?
Wrapping Up My Quick Search
So, I gathered a few key names and stats:
- Most Points: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
- Most 3-Pointers Made: Stephen Curry (always up there)
- Highest 3-Point Percentage: Seth Curry
I poked around a little more, looked at assists leaders, maybe rebound guys too, just to get a fuller picture. It’s interesting to see who excels in different areas. Didn’t spend ages on it, just satisfied my curiosity for the day. Gives me something to think about for the next season, who might keep it up or who might challenge them.
That was pretty much it. Just a quick dive into the stats to see who stood out at the end of the season. Always good to keep tabs on this stuff.
