Alright, so, I’ve been trying to keep up with the Griz games, you know, the University of Montana football team. They’re pretty good, play in the Big Sky Conference. Anyway, I was wondering who won the game today, and I totally forgot to check.
So, first thing I did was just jump on my computer and searched “who won the griz game today”. I mean, that’s the obvious first step, right?
Boom! A bunch of articles popped up. The first few were all about the same game – the Griz were playing against Western Carolina. Apparently, it was a big deal, a “top-25 matchup” as one of them called it.
It turns out, the No. 9 Montana Grizzlies won! They beat No. 24 Western Carolina. Score was 46-35, pretty close game, sounds like it was exciting. The articles were calling it a “thriller” so it must have been a nail-biter. I guess they won it at the Washington-Grizzly Stadium.
- They’re now 3-1 for the season, which is not bad at all.
- Western Carolina, on the other hand, is now 1-3.
There was this one guy, Riley Wilson, who apparently played really well. He’s a linebacker, and the article said he had 3.5 tackles for loss. Sounds like he was all over the field. Oh, and another player named Nick Ostmo rushed for 160 yards. That is some solid contribution to a win!

So yeah, that’s how I found out the Griz won today. It wasn’t too hard, just a quick search. I wish I would have watched the game, though. It sounds like it was a good one. I’ll have to make sure I catch the next one. Go Griz!
