So, I’m a big football fan, and I’ve been following the Detroit Lions for years. This season, I really wanted to make sure I didn’t miss a single game. I’m not a huge fan of cable TV, and paying for it seemed like a waste just to watch the Lions games. So, I started exploring other options.
First, I checked out the schedule to see which channels were broadcasting the games. I noticed that a lot of them were on CBS, so that was a good starting point. I remembered reading somewhere that Paramount+ had live sports, so I headed over to their website. Turns out, they do stream live CBS broadcasts, which was awesome!
- I signed up for Paramount+, and it was pretty easy. They even had a free trial, so I could test it out first.
- The first game I watched using this method was amazing. The stream was crystal clear, and I didn’t experience any buffering issues.
Then I learned that some games are shown on other networks like ESPN and Fox. I did not have a subscription, so I started to get nervous. A friend told me about Hulu + Live TV, and I went to check it out. It includes a lot of channels that broadcast NFL games. Turns out that if I subscribed to Hulu+ Live TV, I would be able to see all the games that I wanted to.
I also found out that some games are broadcast on NBC. So, in addition to the CBS games on Paramount+, I could also catch the Sunday Night Football games on NBC.
It took a little bit of digging, but I finally figured out how to watch all the Lions games without cable. Now I am a happy man!
