Okay, so I’ve been wanting to catch a live stream of the LA Kings game for a while now. I’m not really a tech whiz, but I figured, how hard could it be? Turns out, it’s a bit more involved than I thought, but I got it figured out eventually.

First, I did some digging around to see where I could watch the game. I found out that there are a few options, like some service called Fubo, and something called NBA League Pass which sounds cool because you can watch a bunch of games. I also saw that some folks were talking about a site named JustWatch that tells you where you can watch stuff. Sounds useful.
Figuring Out the Options
- Checked out Fubo – they have a free trial thing going on, which is neat.
- Looked into NBA League Pass – it seems like the go-to for hardcore NBA fans.
- Explored JustWatch – this one seems handy for finding streams in general.
Then I realized I needed to know when the game was actually happening. I found some info saying the Kings were playing the Lakers, and it was happening at the * Arena. Fancy name, right? I also saw that it was supposed to be on a Saturday. I love weekend games. And the other I also got game time is Thursday, December 19. That was good for me too.
After that, I needed to figure out which TV channels were showing the game. I learned that in the US, it would be on NBA TV and SportsNet LA. I don’t have cable, so I crossed those off my list.
The Streaming Solution
Since I wanted to stream it, I went back to the streaming options. The other day I signed up for ESPN+ to watch the Oilers square off against Kings. That was a pretty good experience, so maybe I’ll stick with that. It’s a bit of a bummer that you gotta pay for these things, but hey, that’s how it goes.
So yeah, after a bit of trial and error, I think I’ve got it sorted. I’ll probably just use ESPN+ and see how that goes. It’s not too complicated once you get the hang of it. Now, I just need to remember to actually tune in on game day!
