Well, let me tell you, this here Lustrous Tide, it’s somethin’ else. Ain’t never seen nothin’ like it in all my born days. Shines like a star, it does. I heard some folks talkin’ about it, how they get it by reaching some level. Sounds like a game I suppose? They said you get a whole bunch, like 40 of them shiny things, when you get to level 35. What’s a level 35 anyway?

They call it the “Awakening Journey” or somethin’. Sounds fancy. But I reckon it’s just some young folks’ game. They always got their noses in them screens. Back in my day, we played outside, rain or shine. This Lustrous Tide, though, it’s got me thinkin’. Maybe there’s somethin’ to this game after all.
And get this, they said you can get even more of these Lustrous Tides, 30 more, from somethin’ called “Supply Packs.” Sounds like army rations to me. You gotta reach level 10 and 20 for that, they said. Level 10, level 20, level 35 – it’s all a bit much for my old brain. But more shiny things is always good, I reckon.
- Reach level 35, get 40 Lustrous Tides.
- Reach level 10 and 20, get 30 more from Supply Packs.
- Shiny things good.
I seen a picture of it once. Looked like the ocean, all sparkly and bright. They call it “Wuthering Waves.” Sounds like a storm brewin’, if you ask me. But a pretty one, I guess. Like when the sun hits the water just right after a rain. Makes you wanna just sit and stare. That’s what this Lustrous Tide reminds me of.
These young folks, they say it’s a 5-star somethin’. Five stars! Must be mighty special. They call it SSR, too. Don’t know what that stands for, but it sounds important. Like them fancy hotels with the stars out front. This Lustrous Tide, it’s like the fanciest thing in that game, I suppose.
Some say you need to get some of them to grow stronger in this game. It is like we need some good food to be strong. You need to eat some potatoes to work in the field. Maybe this is just what those young people think, not sure.

I heard them sayin’ somethin’ about “above the waves, I cry out loud.” Sounds a bit dramatic, don’t it? Like somethin’ out of one of them old movies. And “twisting whirls,” too. Sounds like a tornado comin’. Maybe this game ain’t so peaceful after all.
They say it’s in Wuthering Heights. Sounds like a windy place. But this Lustrous Tide, it’s in “Wuthering Waves.” Waves and heights, it’s all a bit confusin’. But I guess it don’t matter much. It’s just a game, after all. But a game with somethin’ shiny and pretty. This Lustrous Tide sure is something.
They also say you need to use it in some way. But how to use a tide? I don’t know. I think I will never know. These young people always have some new ideas.
It is said that you need to find it somewhere. I think if I can find some Lustrous Tide in the real world, I will be very happy. I can show it off to all my old friends. We can sit together and appreciate how pretty it is.
Anyway, this Lustrous Tide, it’s a mystery to me. But a pretty one. Like a shiny coin you find on the ground. Makes you wonder where it came from and who it belongs to. Maybe it’s magic. Who knows. All I know is, it’s somethin’ special. And maybe, just maybe, I’ll ask one of them young folks to show me this game sometime. Just to see this Lustrous Tide for myself. Shine bright like a diamond in the sky. Yeah, that is it.
