OK, let’s talk about how I found Lodgok the goblin. This whole thing started after I finished up that “In the Shadow of the Mountain” quest. I got a new one called “Lodgok’s Loyalty,” which is apparently the 37th main quest in this Hogwarts Legacy game. The goal? Find Lodgok and mess up Ranrok’s drilling plans.
So, the first thing I did was head over to the Coastal Mine. It’s in the southeast part of the Marunweem Lake area. Easy enough to find. When I got there, there were a bunch of guards outside. Naturally, I took them out first. Gotta clear the way, you know?
Entering the Mine
After dealing with the guards, I went inside the mine. Inside, I just followed the quest marker. It’s like a little guide that shows you where to go. I kept following it deeper into the mine until, guess what? I found Lodgok. But the story doesn’t end there.
I also stumbled upon this other goblin named Grodbik. He’s apparently one of those “Infamous Foes.” He was chilling in a room with a Fortified Troll and some other goblins. I guess I had to fight them too. Also I found that this area requires me to complete the quest ‘helm of urtkot’. It seems that I haven’t completed this yet. So I first complete the quest ‘helm of urtkot’.
Meeting Lodgok
Later, I received an owl from Lodgok asking me to meet him. I followed the quest marker again, and it led me to a small cliff overlooking Hogsmeade. That’s where I finally met up with Lodgok. Turns out, he’s a pretty thoughtful goblin who just wants to be understood.
During our conversation, he mentioned something about Ranrok being angry and calling him a traitor. It seems Ranrok found out that his brother knew the location of something important and kept it from him. Ranrok even hit Lodgok with some kind of corrupted Ancient Magic. Crazy, right?
I also met a Wizard who wanted magic ink. In order to get magic ink, I need to get access to Witch’s Hut. But it seems to be blocked by a Goblin, so I have to find a gift to make the Goblin go away. I’m going to look for the gift and go to Witch’s Hut.
So, that’s the gist of it. I found Lodgok, learned about some drama between him and Ranrok, and now I’m trying to solve the Witch’s Hut problem. This Hogwarts Legacy game sure keeps you busy!
