Okay, so here’s the deal with how I ended up diving into Bill Johnson books. It wasn’t like I woke up one day and thought, “Hey, I need to read everything by this guy.” Nah, it was more of a slow burn, a bit of a journey, really.
How It Started
It all began a few years back. I was in a bit of a weird spot, spiritually speaking. Felt like I was just going through the motions, you know? Church was okay, but I was looking for something… more. I still dip back into them sometimes. Not like I’m a disciple or anything, but they’re good for a bit of a perspective shift when I feel like I’m getting stuck in a rut. It’s just part of my journey, I guess. Just one guy’s experience, trying to figure things out. And yeah, reading those books became a pretty significant part of that process for a while there. Definitely shook things up for me.
