Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this thing called “la quilla,” and I gotta say, it’s been a bit of a journey. Let me walk you through what I did.

First Steps
I started by just trying to figure out what this “la quilla” even was. I mean, the name doesn’t give much away, right? So, I googled it, naturally. Turns out, it’s related to boats, specifically the keel. Okay, cool, I’m into boats, let’s see where this goes.
Digging Deeper
I found some basic info, some diagrams, and even a few videos. It was all pretty general, though. I wanted to get my hands dirty, so I started looking for some kind of project or tutorial I could follow. I wanted to see how a “la quilla” is make.
Building My Own(Sort Of)
I used to be pretty handy, so I thought, “Why not try to model this myself?” I found some simple materials:
- Some cardboard.
- A strong cutter.
- Some sturdy tape.
First, I sketch what I saw on the internet about “la quilla” in order to get an idea, then, I cut the cardboard, and finally I join the pieces with tape.

The Result
It did work, at least to me! I could understadn how does a “la quilla” works by build one!
So, that’s my “la quilla” adventure so far. It’s been a fun little dive into something new, and I’m definitely going to keep exploring. Might even try to build a real boat someday, who knows!
