Alright folks, gather ’round. Wanted to share my whole day trip out to Wekopa Golf Course, specifically focusing on the clubhouse and what they’ve got on offer. Heard a lot, figured I’d see for myself.

Getting There & First Impressions
Woke up stupid early. Drove out, gotta say the drive wasn’t too bad once you’re clear of the city mess. Pulled into the parking lot – plenty of space, which was a nice start. Grabbed my bag and walked towards this big, kinda fancy looking building. That’s the clubhouse. Looked impressive from the outside, lots of stone and wood, felt like they spent some cash on it.
Checking In
Walked through the main doors. Right inside, there’s a pro shop dead ahead. Went up to the counter. Guy behind it was polite enough, asked for my tee time. Process was smooth, no fuss. Handed over the plastic, got my receipt and a cart key. Pretty standard stuff. Snagged a sleeve of balls while I was there, prices felt about normal for a course like this.
Poking Around Inside
Before heading out, figured I’d look around. The clubhouse feels… big.
- The Pro Shop: Takes up a good chunk. Golf shirts, hats, clubs, gear… all the usual stuff. Prices? Yeah, you’re paying for the location.
- The Restaurant/Bar: Walked past it. Huge windows looking out over the course, looked real nice. Smelled pretty good too! Didn’t eat yet, but planned to later.
- Locker Rooms: Stuck my head in. Looked clean and modern. Definitely not some run-down shed.
- Patio: Man, the patio looked awesome. Big space, comfy chairs, killer views. Could picture having a cold one out there after the round.
Seemed well put together. Clean, not crowded when I was there in the morning.

On The Course Facilities
Hopped in the cart and headed out. Course itself is another story, but as for stuff out there:
- Drinking Water: They’ve got stations. Seriously, USE THEM. Place gets hot.
- Restrooms: Found them around the turn (hole 9-ish). Also decent, didn’t smell like death. Important!
- Cart Service: Saw the drink cart buzzing around a few times. Driver waved. Nice touch.
No complaints from me on the practical stuff during play.
Post-Round Wrap Up
Finished my round, sun was beating down. Drove the cart back. They have signs pointing to the drop-off area – couldn’t miss it. Dumped the cart, went straight back inside. Hit the locker room to change my shoes and wash up. Felt good.
Food & Drink Time
Alright, was starving. Headed straight for the restaurant. Grabbed a table outside on that patio – views are legit. Server came quick. Ordered a burger and a beer. Burger was solid, fries were crispy, beer was cold. Pricey? Sure. Worth it to sit there relaxing? Yeah, kinda was after 18 holes. Atmosphere was perfect for winding down. Watched other groups finishing up.

Before You Go (My Two Cents)
So, summing up the clubhouse and facilities bit based on today:
- DO book your tee time online: Makes the check-in smooth sailing.
- DO expect nicer facilities: This ain’t your local muni clubhouse. They keep it clean and comfortable.
- DO bring water, but use their stations too: Hydration is king out there.
- DO budget for food/drinks: Gonna cost you, but sitting on that patio is part of the experience.
- DO plan extra time if you want to eat: Afternoon on a nice day? Patio fills up fast.
- DON’T stress about basics: Water, bathrooms, cart service – they’ve got it handled well during play.
Overall? The clubhouse and what they offer feels like it matches the price point and the course quality. Does its job well, looks good doing it, and makes for a decent place to start and end your day.
