Okay, so I’ve been trying to catch the Iowa women’s basketball games lately, ’cause, you know, they’re kind of a big deal. But it’s been a bit of a headache figuring out where to watch them for free.

First off, I started looking around to find out where these games were even being shown. Turns out, a bunch of them are on this thing called FloCollege. So, I went over there and poked around.
Here’s what I did:
- I found out that to watch the games on FloCollege, you gotta sign up.
- So I did that, I signed up there, figuring it was the only way.
Then, I noticed they had some specific games listed, like Iowa vs. Rhode Island and Iowa vs. BYU. And they even mentioned who was gonna be doing the commentary, which was pretty cool. I think I saw something about Jon Gross and Isis Young being the commentators.
I also saw that they played against Northern Iowa, and apparently, it was a pretty high-scoring game, like 92-86 or something. They won that one, which was good. That was on December 20th, I think.
I remember reading somewhere that they were trying to get a good start in the Big Ten, so I guess that’s why they’re playing all these games.

So, how did I finally get to watch?
Well, after signing up on FloCollege, I could watch some of the games there. But honestly, it wasn’t really free. But I wanted to follow the team, so I watched a few games there.
I kept digging around, though, hoping to find other ways to watch. I mean, everyone wants to watch for free, right? I saw some info about how to watch in or out of market, but most of that seemed to involve paying for cable or something, which wasn’t what I was looking for.
So, yeah, that’s where I’m at now. Still looking for that golden ticket to watch all the Iowa women’s basketball games without paying. If I find anything, I’ll definitely share. It’s been a bit of a journey, but hey, that’s what being a fan is all about, right?
