Unbelievable! Josh Giddey Gets Another Triple Double, What a Star!

So, I was messing around with basketball stats again. This time, I was curious about Josh Giddey’s triple-doubles. I started by checking out some recent news and found out that he just got his first triple-double with the Chicago Bulls on December 3, 2024. Pretty cool, right?

Unbelievable! Josh Giddey Gets Another Triple Double, What a Star!

Then, I dug a little deeper and saw that he scored 20 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and dished out 11 assists in that game. Man, that’s a solid performance! It got me thinking about other players who’ve had a lot of triple-doubles.

  • I remembered that Michael Jordan was the first to get a triple-double in an All-Star Game back in 1997. That’s some legendary stuff.
  • Then I looked up who else has more than 100 career triple-doubles besides the well-known Russell Westbrook and Oscar Robertson.
  • Turns out, there are only four others: Nikola Jokić, Magic Johnson, LeBron James, and Jason Kidd. That’s some elite company for Giddey to potentially join someday!

While I was at it, I also noticed Giddey’s national team career stats. He averaged 16.4 points, which is not too shabby at all. It seems like this guy is really making a name for himself, both in the NBA and internationally. I just wanted to share his game data with all you basketball fans, and if you like this, I will share more game data with you. I think this guy is going to be a major problem for the league’s other 29 teams for the next 10 years.

Some Extra Thoughts

It’s crazy to think about how young Giddey is and how much he’s already accomplished. He really impressed me, and I might start trying to collect his rookie cards. Getting a triple-double is no easy feat, and to do it consistently takes a special kind of player. I’m definitely going to be keeping an eye on Giddey’s career from now on. I’m excited to see how he develops and if he can keep up this level of play. Who knows, maybe he’ll even surpass some of those legends on the triple-double list someday!
