Okay, so today I wanted to dive into something a little different – baseball! Specifically, the 2003 Yankees roster. I’ve always been a huge Yankees fan, and 2003 was a memorable year, even though they didn’t win the World Series.

First, I pulled up my old baseball cards. Yeah, I’m that guy. I still have binders full of them! I flipped through the Yankees section, looking for players from that 2003 team. It was a fun trip down memory lane, seeing names like Jeter, Posada, and Rivera.
Then, I wanted a more complete list, so I headed over to the internet. I simply typed “2003 yankees roster” into the search bar and boom! Tons of websites popped up.
Getting Organized
I started copying and pasting the names into a simple text document. Just to keep track of everyone. It quickly became a pretty long list!
I wanted to have the postion too. So I went through and added the position beside the player name.
After that, I went back and did some formating to make it look better.

- Pitchers: I made a note of all the pitchers.
- Catchers: Then the catchers.
- Infielders: Infielders were next.
- Outfielders:And lastly outfielders.
It was cool to see the whole team laid out like that. Brought back a lot of memories of watching those games. It’s not exactly rocket science, but it was a fun little project for a nostalgic Yankees fan like me!
