Okay, so I’ve been obsessed with vintage bikes lately, and the Yamaha TW200 has totally caught my eye. It’s got that classic, rugged look, and it seems like it would be a blast to ride on trails and backroads. But before I get too carried away, I needed to figure out the whole price situation.

Digging for Prices
First, I checked the usual places, I didn’t find any brand new, so I figured I was in for a hunt for a used one. Then I thought, “Let’s see what people are actually asking for these things.”
I spent a good chunk of time, scrolling, clicking, and comparing. Man, the prices were all over the place! It really depended on the year, the condition, and I guess, how much the seller loved their bike.
Figuring Out a “Fair” Price
After looking at tons of listings, I started to get a feel for what seemed like a reasonable price.
Here is the breakdown of the different price ranges that I saw:

- Mint Condition, Low Mileage:These were the cream of the crop, and they were priced accordingly.
- Good Condition, Average Mileage: I’d look to spend on this kind of TW200.
- Rough Condition, High Mileage: I could expect to pay for a bike that needed some love.
My Plan
Now that I have a better idea of the TW200 price landscape, I feel way more prepared. The hunt is still on, but at least I have a number in my head. I plan to keep an eye out in some local areas. Wish me luck, might do a future post of this bike in my hands!
