How I Finally Got That Messy Achievement
So today I tried getting the “Total Confusion” achievement in that game. Man, what a headache. Started simple, you know? Just tried clicking random stuff on the screen like an idiot. Nothing happened. Figured maybe it needed more chaos.
First, I mashed all the keyboard keys at once – real fast, like a cat walking on it. Screen went nuts with pop-ups and errors, flashing all over. Still no achievement popup. Thought maybe my keyboard mashing wasn’t confused enough.
- Tried clicking while holding down every mouse button at the same time. Nothing.
- Moved the mouse like crazy in circles while randomly pressing Ctrl+Alt+Whatever.
- Opened every menu I could find and jammed settings to max and min non-stop.
- Even plugged in and unplugged my mouse repeatedly mid-click. Still zilch.
Got proper annoyed at this point. Started changing the game’s language settings back and forth – English to French, French to German, back to English. Made the UI all messed up, words half-translated, icons overlapping. Thought that must do it. Nope. Achievement stayed hidden.
Okay, deep breath. Maybe it’s literal confusion. Like… confusing myself. Spun my chair around fast until I felt dizzy, then tried playing blindfolded for a minute. Kept pressing buttons randomly based on sound. Sounded like a disaster in there. Checked after… achievement not unlocked. Seriously?
Was about to throw in the towel. Leaned back in my chair, sighed, and just started randomly clicking UI elements while sighing again, head kinda fuzzy. Hand slipped – knocked over my coffee mug. Caught it mostly, but splashed coffee on my keyboard. Panicked, grabbed tissues, mashing keys to pause or something while frantically wiping sticky coffee off WASD. Screen was glitching from wet keys. Suddenly… BING! That sweet achievement sound played. The “Total Confusion” banner popped right up on screen.
So yeah. Turns out the trick was pure, genuine, messy human panic and keyboard chaos – fueled by actual coffee spillage. Achievement unlocked literally by accident, while cleaning up another mess. Didn’t expect that at all. Laughed like an idiot for five minutes straight after.
