The truth about palworld where to find Digtoise: Top secret locations revealed for you today.

Alright, so everyone’s been asking me, “Hey, where do you actually find a Digtoise?” and honestly, it took me a bit of fumbling around before I pinned them down. I figured I’d share my little adventure so you don’t waste as much time as I initially did.

My First Dumb Ideas

So, I wanted a Digtoise. Badly. Heard they were ace for mining, and my ore situation was getting desperate. My first thought? “Dig-toise… digs… must be in caves or something, right?” So, I spent a good few hours, no joke, spelunking in every dark hole I could find. Found a lot of Depresso, not a single Digtoise. Then I thought, “Okay, maybe just rocky areas?” Climbed a bunch of mountains, scouted out every pebble-strewn field I knew. Nothing. Just a lot of sore feet and wasted Pal Spheres on things I didn’t even want.

The “Aha!” Moment (Sort Of)

I was about ready to give up, thinking they were some super rare, late-game thing. Then I was crafting something, can’t remember what, and noticed a material description mentioning a “vast desert.” A little lightbulb went off. Deserts are hot, dry, and you gotta dig for water, right? Seemed like a long shot, but it was better than wandering aimlessly. I vaguely remembered seeing a huge yellowish patch on my map way up in the northeast. That had to be it.

The Trek and The Search

Gearing up for that trip was a whole thing. Packed extra water, slapped on the best heat-resistant gear I had at the time, which wasn’t much, let me tell you. The journey itself was… sandy. And hot. Really hot. Saw a few Anubis statues, which was cool, but still no Digtoise.

When I finally got deep into that big desert – the one called the Twilight Dunes, I think, or something similar on the map – I started my search proper. It’s a big place, mind you. Lots of dunes, some rock formations, and plenty of aggressive Pals that were not Digtoise. I was looking for something that, well, digs or looks like it could dig.

  • I checked around the large rock pillars.
  • I scoured the open sandy plains.
  • I even poked around the edges, near where the desert meets other biomes.

Took a while. I was starting to think I’d been had again. My character was complaining about the heat, I was running low on supplies, the usual drama.

Finally! Spotting Those Spinny Lads

And then, I saw one. Just kinda trundling along, looking like a big, armored, spinny rock. Then another! They weren’t hiding in caves or anything, just out in the open, mostly in the more central parts of that big northeastern desert. I also heard from a buddy later that there’s a smaller desert island, I think it’s called No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary, way up north, where you can sometimes spot them, but that northeastern mainland desert was where I struck gold. Or, well, Digtoise.

Catching them wasn’t too bad once I found them. They spin, you dodge, you weaken ’em, you throw a sphere. Standard stuff. But finding them was the real challenge for me initially.

So, What I Learned

Basically, if you’re hunting for Digtoise:

  • Head to the big desert: The main one is in the far northeastern part of the map. That’s your primary hunting ground.
  • Look in open areas: Don’t expect them to be tucked away in tiny corners. I found mine just wandering the dunes and flatter sandy spots.
  • Be prepared for the heat: Seriously, bring heat-resistant gear and water.
  • Patience, my friend: It’s a big area, so it might take a bit of searching.

So yeah, that was my journey to finding those walking, spinning excavators. Hopefully, this saves you some of the headache I went through. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a mountain of ore to process.
