Alright, so I’ve been meaning to check out the Queen’s Club Championships for ages, and this year, 2024, I finally made it happen. The whole thing went down from June 17th to the 23rd, so you know, prime tennis season.

First things first, I looked up how to get there. Turns out, taking public transport is the way to go. I hopped on the District Line and got off at West Kensington Station. From there, it was just a quick two-minute walk. Easy peasy.
Now, I had heard about a dress code, so I did a bit of digging on that too. If you’re lucky enough to be in The President’s Room, it’s all suits and ties for the gents, and fancy dresses or trouser suits for the ladies. For everywhere else, they said smart/casual is fine. I opted for a nice pair of trousers and a decent shirt, just to be safe. No ripped jeans or trainers, though. They were pretty clear about that.
Getting into the Event
- I pre-booked my tickets online, which I’d definitely recommend. Saved me the hassle of queuing up on the day.
- Security was tight, but efficient. I had my bag checked, went through a metal detector, and then I was in!
Once inside, the atmosphere was buzzing. Loads of people, all excited for the tennis. I grabbed a program to see who was playing when, found a decent spot in the stands, and settled in for some top-notch tennis action.
Between matches, I wandered around, checked out the food stalls. I gotta say the food wasn’t bad at all. I had a nice coffee and some snacks to keep me going.
All in all, it was a great day out. The tennis was brilliant, the crowd was lively, and the whole event was really well organized. I’ll definitely be aiming to go again next year. If you’re a tennis fan, you should really try to check it out sometime.

That’s it. Hope you find it useful.
