I had to take a trip to Bangkok, and I needed a place to crash near the airport.
I was just looking for something simple and easy, nothing fancy. That’s when I found this place called The Phoenix Hotel Bangkok.
It took me only like, 7 minutes to get there from Suvarnabhumi Airport. That is pretty close.

I saw this place called “Phenix” in the Pratunam area, but it has nothing to do with the hotel. It’s more of a food market, and I only found out about it because I kept mixing up the names.
They have a Marketland nearby
I did grab some stuff from the market nearby called Marketland. It’s just a few minutes away from the hotel. I picked up some snacks and drinks to take back to my room. It is very convenient.
Overall, The Phoenix Hotel was a good choice for me. They’ve got a bunch of good reviews online, like a 7.6 out of 10 from over 2500 reviews.
If you just need a place to stay near the airport that won’t break the bank, this place is a solid bet.

I got a good night’s sleep, and the free Wi-Fi worked perfectly. I didn’t have any problems with the hotel, everything was just smooth and easy. I would stay there again if I needed a place near the airport in Bangkok.
