My oh my, let me tell you about this place, The Links Rotonda. It’s one of them fancy golf places, you know? Down in Rotonda West, where the sun shines bright most days. Heard it’s a real pretty spot, but folks say it can take forever to play a round.

The Links Rotonda, A Nice Place to Golf
They got this Rotonda Golf and Country Club, and The Links is one of the courses there. Seems like it’s what they call an “executive” course. Don’t rightly know what that means, but it’s got 18 holes, just like any other golf course I reckon. John LaFoy, that’s the fella who designed it, they say.
Now, some folks say it’s a bit pricey, this Links Rotonda. Heard some grumbling ’bout it taking six or seven hours to play! Can you imagine? Standing out there in the sun all day, waiting your turn. Especially if you got them slowpokes in front of you, members who been there for 20 years or more. David Kelly, he’s the big cheese there, the GM. I guess he should make sure they do things faster.
But others, they say it’s worth it. Says it’s a “links” course, whatever that is. They mention it’s near the coast, with the wind and the rain and all that. Sounds kinda rough to me, but I guess some folks like that. They say the land is natural, shaped by the weather. I heard the word “hlinc”, that means “rising ground” I think. It’s kinda like what those Scottish folks say. Sounds like a tough walk to me!
- 18 holes of golf
- Designed by John LaFoy

- A “links” style course near the coast
- Can be a bit slow sometimes
- It is not very cheap, about $22.99-$32.99.
It’s in the United States, this Links Rotonda place. Down in Florida, where it’s warm most of the time. They got these fancy places all over, like in Las Vegas and Michigan. And some place called Amelia Island. I guess rich folks like to go to these areas to play golf a lot.
The Links Rotonda Is Fancy
This place, The Links Rotonda, seems fancy. I heard they have initiation fees over a million dollars! And then the annual dues are about $30. Boy, oh boy, that’s a lot of money just to hit a little white ball around. They say this area is upscale, full of rich folks’ houses. I think this Rotonda Links Golf Course is one of them.

They got all these bays around there too, Sag Harbor, Noyack, and Peconic. It should be beautiful there. They say it’s 300 acres, all pretty and green. Probably a nice place to visit, even if you don’t play golf. But me, I think I’d rather sit on my porch and watch the world go by.
But if you’re into that sort of thing, this Links Rotonda might be the place for you. They say you can book a time to play, see the weather, and all that fancy stuff online. But like I said, it can be slow. So, if you go, you just gotta be patient, I reckon. Just bring a good book to read while you’re waiting, or maybe take a nap in the sunshine!
So there you have it. That’s all I know about this The Links Rotonda. It is a part of Rotonda Golf and Country Club. If you ever find yourself down in Rotonda West and you’re hankering for a game of golf, you might want to check it out. Just be prepared to wait a bit. And be prepared to pay a bit, too! But hey, maybe you’ll see some fancy folks and get a taste of the high life. Who knows, it might be worth it. If you like that sort of thing.
