Alright, let’s talk about Week 15, it’s that time again, the start-em, sit-em dilemma. You know, the usual drill, trying to figure out who’s gonna bring home the bacon and who’s gonna leave you hanging.

So, I started by checking out the matchups, like I always do. Looking at who’s playing who, who’s injured, who’s on a hot streak, and who’s been colder than a polar bear’s toenails. Gotta gather all the intel, right?
Then I dove into the stats. Not just the basic stuff, but the nitty-gritty. I was looking at things like snap counts, targets, red-zone looks, you name it. I spent time going over all of it. Trying to find those little nuggets of information that might give me an edge.
After that, I started listening to some podcasts. It’s always interesting to hear what other people are thinking, even if I don’t always agree with them. I will say, some of these guys, man, they come up with some wild takes. Makes me wonder if they’re even watching the same games.
Then I did my own thing. Made my own list of who I thought were must-starts, who were on the bubble, and who should probably ride the pine. It’s a tough process, always second-guessing myself. But that’s part of the fun, right?
And finally, I did it – set my lineups. Locked them in. Now it’s just a waiting game. Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst. That’s the life of a fantasy football manager, baby. Always an adventure.

Here’s a breakdown of what I looked at for each position:
- Quarterbacks: I was looking at things like passing yards, touchdowns, interceptions, and rushing yards. Plus, the opposing defense’s ranking against the pass. You don’t want your QB going up against a lockdown secondary.
- Running Backs: Rushing attempts, yards, touchdowns, and receptions. Also, how good the opposing defense is against the run. And of course, whether they’re sharing the backfield or if they’re the bell cow.
- Wide Receivers: Targets, receptions, yards, and touchdowns. And the quality of the cornerbacks they’ll be facing. Plus, whether their quarterback is any good. No point in having a great receiver if the QB can’t get him the ball.
- Tight Ends: Pretty much the same as wide receivers. Targets, receptions, yards, and touchdowns. But also how often they’re used in the red zone. Tight ends are touchdown-dependent, so you want guys who are getting those looks near the goal line.
- Defense/Special Teams: Sacks, interceptions, fumbles, points allowed, and return touchdowns. And of course, the quality of the opposing offense. You want a defense that’s going up against a turnover-prone team.
- Kickers: Yeah, I know, kickers. But hey, they can win you games. I was looking at field goal percentage, extra point percentage, and how often their team gets into scoring position.
I’ll tell you this much, it wasn’t easy. But I feel pretty good about my choices. We’ll see what happens. That’s all for now. Good luck to everyone in Week 15!
