Here’s what I dug up about those opening acts
So yesterday morning, I’m sipping coffee scrolling through Ticketmaster when I see Train’s Cincinnati date. Instantly wondered who’s opening – always makes concerts way more fun right? Jumped straight to Google typing “Train Cincinnati opening acts” like my keyboard’s on fire.

First results showed some generic tour info pages. Total letdown. Clicked through five sites wasting 20 minutes just seeing “special guests” nonsense with zero names. Got super frustrated – felt like everyone was gatekeeping the info. Even Train’s official site just screamed “EXCITING OPENERS!” without actually naming anybody.
Switched tactics. Headed straight to the venue’s Facebook page. Scrolled through months of posts till bam – found their concert announcement buried under food truck ads. Still nada about openers. Almost threw my phone when I noticed tiny text: “Opening acts TBA”. Useless.
Then remembered local event blogs usually post set times. Dug up CincyMusic’s preview article. There it was buried in paragraph eight – names printed so small I had to zoom: “The Brevet and Thunderstorm Artis”. Felt like cracking some secret code!
Did quick Spotify searches to sample them:
- The Brevet’s got folksy anthem vibes – perfect opener material
- Thunderstorm Artis? Smooth soulful voice – caught his audition on The Voice years back
Total gamechanger knowing who’s playing. Now grabbing tickets feels way smarter – getting three acts for one ticket price? Hell yeah. Should’ve started with local blogs instead of those trashy clickbait sites.

Moral of this scavenger hunt? Concert info hides like buried treasure. Always check venue pages and local bloggers first. Saved me from another “mystery opener” disappointment!
