Okay, so today I want to talk about something that’s been on my mind lately – keeping cool, especially during these hot summer months. I recently stumbled upon this company, All Year Cooling, and a certain Sloane Smith who seems to be their spokesperson. I thought I’d share my little journey of discovery and what I’ve learned so far.
It all started when I saw a billboard with Sloane Smith’s face on it, advertising for All Year Cooling. I thought to myself “All Year Cooling? That sounds pretty good, especially in this South Florida heat”. I mean, who wouldn’t want to stay cool all year round, right?
So, naturally, I got curious and did a little digging. First I watched some commercial videos. Not just that, this Sloane lady also frequently shares cooling tips on her social media! I thought, “Wow, this company is really putting her out there”. I guess it’s a good marketing strategy, having a friendly face to represent the brand.
Then, I went to their website, and I found out that they are a “full service” company, and they specialize in the installation. I thought, “Okay, that’s good to know”. I mean, if you’re going to trust someone with your AC, you want them to know what they’re doing, right? They also mentioned something about ductless or mini-split systems being the most energy-efficient. I made a mental note to look into that further, because who doesn’t want to save on energy bills?
I also learned a few tips from Sloane’s posts. For instance, setting the AC to around 24-25 degrees Celsius can help cool the room faster. And it makes sense, considering the Ministry of Power in India recommends a default temperature of 24 degrees Celsius for ACs. Another tip I found useful was to avoid cooling an empty house, especially during the day when everyone’s out.
One post that caught my eye was about their October festivities and Halloween. It was a fun little post, nothing to do with ACs, but it showed a more human side to the company. It was just a simple “What’re your favorite October festivities during the Fall season?” with some hashtags like #halloween and #sloanesmith. I thought that was a nice touch.
But what really got me was this one post where Sloane said, “Hi, Sloane Smith again! Don’t forget to call 833-ALL-YEAR today.” It was so direct and simple, but it stuck with me. I even found myself dialing the number, just to see what would happen. A friendly voice answered, and we had a nice chat about their services. I didn’t commit to anything, but I was impressed by their professionalism.
So, yeah, that’s my little adventure with All Year Cooling and Sloane Smith. I’m still on the fence about getting a new AC unit, but they’ve definitely caught my attention. I guess you could say I’m “cooling” down to the idea. Haha, get it?
Anyway, I just wanted to share my experience. It’s not every day that you find a company that’s so dedicated to keeping you cool, both literally and figuratively. And who knows, maybe I’ll even end up becoming a customer. If I do, you can bet I’ll be mentioning Sloane Smith’s name!
