Alright, so I’ve been diving deep into the whole Sky TV schedule thing for 2024, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I started off pretty clueless, just poking around the internet, you know, trying to figure out what shows and movies are coming up on Sky this year.

First, I stumbled upon their TV Guide. It’s this massive list of channels, like 600+ of them. I scrolled through the daily recommendations, but honestly, it was a bit overwhelming. I mean, who has time to watch that much TV?
Then I got sidetracked by all the festive season stuff. Apparently, Sky’s got a bunch of holiday-themed shows and movies lined up. Not really my thing, but hey, to each their own. I skipped over most of that and moved on to the good stuff.
I found out that Sky Cinema is dropping a ton of new movies in 2024. I spotted some action flicks, like “The Beekeeper,” and this other one, “Ferrari,” which is apparently from some big-shot director, Michael Mann. I made a mental note to check those out when they release. I selected these movies into my movie list.
I also dug into the monthly highlights. It looks like every month, Sky and NOW add a few big-name shows and films. November, January, September – they all had some interesting stuff. I jotted down a few titles that caught my eye, just random stuff, you know, whatever seemed cool at the time.
Freeview
- There is a channel on Freeview called Sky Open.
- I checked their Freeview channel, Sky Open which is on channel 15.
- Then I discovered that I can stream Sky Open shows on Sky Go.
- I tried downloading the app.
- I also explored Freeview and learned that you can watch it without a UHF aerial or satellite dish if you have a Dish TV SmartVU box.
So yeah, that’s pretty much my adventure with the Sky schedule. I ended up with a messy list of shows and movies I might watch, spread across different months and services. It’s not the most organized thing, but hey, it’s a start, right? I’ll probably just end up browsing and seeing what catches my eye when the time comes.
