Sharks Championships: Ultimate Guide & What to Expect

Okay, so today was all about getting my hands dirty with the “sharks championships” data. I’ve been wanting to play around with it for a while, so I finally decided to just dive in.

Sharks Championships: Ultimate Guide & What to Expect

Getting Started

First things first, I had to, you know, actually find the data. I did some digging around, and yep, managed to grab a CSV file. It wasn’t perfectly clean, obviously, but it was a start.

Wrangling the Data

I then spend time to cleaned up the data. Opened it in Excel, and oh boy, the usual mess. There are some extra columns I really don’t care about, random blank rows, and names that don’t fit standrand format.

  • Removing the Junk: I went through and deleted all the columns I didn’t need. It felt good, like decluttering my digital workspace.
  • Cleaning the Rows: Got rid of those blank rows. they will affect my analysis.
  • Fixing the Names: Made all the player/team names consistent.

Sorting it

With every single detail fixed. I started to sort them in order.I have to sort data by different parameters.I want to know, for example, what are the win rates for a team, or the number of goals scored by players.

It took some effort, but once I did all that, things were looking much better!

Figuring Stuff Out

Now, it’s start to do some analyze. I started playing around with the data. Nothing super fancy, just some basic calculations like win rate, goals, and points.

Once I got the basic numbers,I tried to arrange them in * is the process to turn these data into knowledge.

What I Learned

After spending the whole afternoon messing with this, I actually started to see some interesting patterns. I won’t bore you with the details (unless you really want to know!), but it definitely gave me a better understanding of how the championships went down.

Overall, it was a fun little project. It’s always satisfying to take some raw data and turn it into something you can actually understand. I’m no expert, of course, but hey, I learned something, and that’s what matters, right?
