Okay, so I saw this movie title, “Gina Carano in the Blood,” and I was like, “Alright, action flick, Gina Carano kicking butt, I’m in!” I’m a big fan of hers from way back, you know, the Mandalorian days, all that. So, I decided to check it out.
First, I looked it up. Just to get the gist, see what it was all about. Turns out, it’s about this woman whose husband goes missing on their honeymoon. Sounds pretty intense, right?
Then, I found a place to watch it. It wasn’t on any of my usual streaming services, which was a bit of a bummer. I finally managed to find it somewhere and bought it.
I settled in, got some snacks, and hit play. The movie starts, and boom, it’s all beautiful scenery, tropical paradise, and then…BAM! Things go sideways real fast. Gina’s character, Ava, is all happy and in love, and then her husband disappears during some zip-lining thing. Total nightmare fuel.
The rest of the movie is basically Ava going full-on beast mode trying to find him. She’s interrogating people, getting into fights, chasing down leads – the whole nine yards. She’s not messing around. It’s pretty clear she’s got some serious skills, which she uses throughout the film.
- There’s this one scene where she’s fighting off these guys in a, like, warehouse or something. Total chaos, but she’s handling it.
- And then she’s driving like a maniac through these narrow streets, trying to escape. It was pretty wild.
My takeaway?
If you like action, and you like seeing Gina Carano do her thing, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not, like, the best movie ever, but it’s a solid action flick.
She does a good job. It gets the adrenaline pumping. My final result is I gave it a thumbs up. Not perfect, but entertaining.
