Okay, so, about the “all cars that raced in petit mans 2024” thing. I gotta tell you, figuring this out was a bit of a journey. I started, like anyone would, by trying to find some list online, you know? But it was rough. Most places just gave me the winners or the top few. That wasn’t what I was going for. I wanted the whole shebang, every single car that was in the race.

So, I changed my approach. I started digging into the teams’ websites, one by one. Yeah, it was a slog, going through each team’s press releases, news sections, and what not. But hey, that’s where I started finding the good stuff. I found names, car models, even the numbers they were sporting. It was like putting together a puzzle, piece by piece.
Then I thought, “Why not check out some forums?” You know, places where the real racing fanatics hang out. And let me tell you, those folks are dedicated. I stumbled upon some threads where people were talking about every car they spotted, sharing photos, the whole nine yards. It was a goldmine! I cross-referenced what I found on the team sites with what the forum folks were saying, and things started to really come together.
But I didn’t stop there. I also hit up some of those live-timing websites, the ones that track the cars during the race. It was a bit tricky because they don’t always keep that info up for long, but I managed to find some archives. That helped me fill in a few more gaps, make sure I wasn’t missing anyone.
What I Got
- LMP2 Class: CrowdStrike Racing by APR, United Autosports USA, TDS Racing, and more.
- LMP3 Class: Jr III Racing, Andretti Autosport, and a few others.
- GTD Pro Class: Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports, Pfaff Motorsports, etc.
- GTD Class: This one was packed! Turner Motorsport, Winward Racing, just to name a couple.
Finally, after all that digging, cross-referencing, and piecing together, I had it—a full list, or at least as full as I could get it, of all the cars that raced in Petit Mans 2024. It wasn’t easy, but it felt pretty darn good to build that list from the ground up. I made a spreadsheet, organized everything nice and neat, and I even added some notes about which cars had cool liveries or interesting stories behind them. Was it time-consuming? You bet. But was it worth it? Absolutely.
