Okay, so, I’ve been meaning to get back into golf lately. It’s been a while, and I figured a good place to start would be the Santa Teresa Golf Course. I heard they’ve got options for all levels, which is perfect because, let’s be honest, I’m a bit rusty.

So, I headed over there last weekend, clubs in tow. I started my day at the driving range. It felt good to just swing away and not worry too much about where the ball was going. I spent a good hour there, just getting the feel for it again. The weather was amazing, by the way, made the whole experience even better.
- I warmed up with some deep breathing exercises.
- Inhaled deeply, held it, and exhaled slowly. It really helped me relax.
- Then I grabbed my clubs and started hitting some balls.
After the driving range, I decided to try out their 9-hole par 3 course. I thought it would be a good way to ease back into the game without the pressure of a full 18 holes. And you know what? It was actually a lot of fun. It was a chill, no-stress kind of round, which was exactly what I needed.
I even invited a couple of buddies to join me. They’re beginners, so this course was perfect for them too. We made it into a friendly competition, seeing who could get closest to the pin on each hole. Nothing too serious, just a bit of fun to keep things interesting. It was awesome to get them out there trying the different clubs with me.
Honestly, the whole experience was great. It was a good way to get some exercise, enjoy the beautiful weather, and just have a good time with friends. If you’re looking for a place to golf, whether you’re a beginner or just looking for a casual round, I definitely recommend checking out Santa Teresa Golf Course. You don’t need to commit to a full 4 or 5 hours, you can spend time just practicing. It’s a great way to get into the swing of things, literally.
Friendly Competition
To make things more fun, we set up some challenges. We kept score, and the winner got bragging rights. It was a blast!

Try Different Clubs
I tried using different clubs, like drivers and irons. It was interesting to see how each club affected my shots.
All in all, I had a fantastic time at Santa Teresa. It was a perfect way to get back into golf, enjoy the outdoors, and hang out with friends. It made me want to go out and play again.
