So, I saw this thing online called “Santa golfing,” and I thought, “What the heck is that?” Turns out, it’s exactly what it sounds like – Santa, playing golf. I had to see this for myself.
First, I dug around a bit and found that there are all sorts of “Santa golfing” stuff out there. People are selling Santa golfing images, Santa golfing figures, even Santa golfing SVG files for like, crafting and stuff. It’s pretty crazy.
Then, I stumbled upon this video on TikTok. It was posted by some golf company, and it’s basically Santa showing off his surprisingly good golf skills. He’s sinking putts, driving the ball like a pro, and being all jolly about it. I had a good laugh, I gotta say.
I started thinking, “Maybe there’s a game in this.” And yeah, there’s something called “Secret Santa,” but it’s not really about golf. It’s a gift exchange thing where you buy presents for people anonymously. I guess you could mix it with golf, but that’s not what I’m after.
But this whole Santa golfing thing got me hooked. I found this movie called “The Long Game” It’s about some young Mexican-American caddies who built their own golf course in the desert back in the 50s, I guess it’s somehow related to golf. I haven’t watched it yet, but it’s on my list now.
And then, there’s the actual “Santa golfing” decorations and stuff. I saw these hand-crafted figures of Santa playing golf, made from fabric and resin. They’re kinda cool, in a kitschy way. I might actually get one for my desk or something. They are so interesting. I guess that no matter you are in another country or just miles away, this can be a wonderful gift.
So yeah, that’s my Santa golfing adventure so far. It’s a weird little rabbit hole, but it’s been pretty entertaining. I might even try to set up a Santa golfing game with my friends this year, just for kicks.

Anyway, this whole journey has been pretty interesting, even if it didn’t start out that way. I definitely did not expect to find all of these cool things. I’m really glad I did, though.
