They say it’s a golf place. Golf, that’s a game for rich folks, right? They got all them clubs and fancy clothes. And they hit that little white ball around. I don’t get it. Seems like a waste of time, if you ask me.
But this Sand Hills Golf Club in Nebraska, they say it’s real special. Real fancy. They say it’s the best, one of the best. Best at what? Best at being a waste of time? Haha, just kidding. But really, what’s so special about a golf club, huh? They got a lot of famous people going there. Is that a big deal?
Sand Hills Golf, Is It Expensive?
I hear it costs a lot of money to play at this Sand Hills Golf Club Nebraska. A lot of money! More money than I’ve ever seen in my whole life. They say it’s like, a fortune. What do they do with all that money, huh? Buy gold-plated golf clubs?
Some folks say it’s the most expensive golf place in the whole wide world! Can you believe it? What a world we live in, huh. A lot of money just for hitting a ball around. I can think of better ways to spend money, let me tell you. Like buying some good seeds for the garden, or a new pair of shoes for church. Not that I am saying that I am in church every week. Who has the time? But still. I like new shoes.
They say there’s another place, called Shadow Creek. Sounds spooky, huh? Shadow Creek, Sand Hills, what’s with these names? Anyway, they say Shadow Creek is even more expensive! More expensive than Sand Hills Golf Club! I don’t know about that. But that’s what people say. Rich people problems, I guess.

Nebraska Sand Hills, What’s It Like?
This Nebraska place, where the Sand Hills Golf Club is. They say it’s pretty. Pretty with sand. I like flowers, not sand. But they say it’s pretty. Rolling hills, they call it. Like a big, sandy ocean. I guess if you like sand, it’s pretty.
They say the Sand Hills Golf place, it fits right in with the land. Like it was always there. Like God put it there Himself. Well, I don’t know about that. But it sounds nice, I guess. A natural place. Not all built up and fake. They don’t even have many trees there.
I saw a picture once. Lots of sand, like I said. And some grass. Green grass, not like the dry stuff we get here sometimes. They must water it a lot. With all that money they make, they can afford to water the grass, I reckon.
Golf, Is It a Good Game?
I don’t know much about golf, like I said. Seems like a silly game to me. But some folks, they love it. They say it’s relaxing. They say it’s a good way to spend time with friends. Maybe that’s true. I don’t know.
They say this Sand Hills Golf Club Nebraska, it’s a classic. A classic! Like an old movie or something. They say it’s one of the best ever made. I don’t know if it is that good. Maybe. Well, I guess if you like golf, it must be pretty good. It must be, right? With all that money and all.
But me, I’d rather be in my garden. Or baking a pie. Or just sitting on the porch, watching the world go by. That’s my kind of fun.
