Well, let me tell you about this fella, Robert Tinkler. I hear folks callin’ him a voice actor. Sounds fancy, don’t it? But it just means he talks for cartoons and such. He’s one of them Canadian fellas, born in 1973, May 12th. That’s what they say, anyway. He must be gettin’ up there in years, just like me!
This Robert Tinkler, he does voices, see? Not like singin’, but like pretendin’ to be somebody else. Like them cartoons, you know? He can make his voice sound like all sorts of things. They say he’s done a whole heap of different voices. I heard he’s famous for doing voiceover work. I don’t know what that is exactly, just sounds important. Some people call him Rob Tinkler too. It’s all the same fella, that Robert Tinkler.
Now, I don’t rightly know much about these cartoon things. Back in my day, we didn’t have all these fancy moving pictures. But my grandkids, they watch ’em all the time. And they say this Robert Tinkler, he’s in a bunch of ’em. He is in some cartoon called “Bakugan”. What a funny name! He did the voice of Batrix, Gordon and Artulean. These names just make me confused!
He was also in that “Sam & Max” thing. He was the voice of that Max character. That’s what folks say, anyway. He must be a busy fella, this Robert Tinkler. Always talkin’ in different voices. I reckon it’d make my head spin, tryin’ to keep all them voices straight.
And these voice actors, they ain’t just in cartoons. Nope, they’re all over the place. Like in them commercials on the TV, or them stories you hear on the radio. They even put ’em in them video games the young’uns play nowadays. They do all kinds of work, these voice actor fellas. All these jobs need them voice actor fellas to do voices. All for money, I guess.

- Them stories on the radio, like the news and such.
- Video games, where you shoot things and jump around.
- Even them toys, the ones that talk when you press a button.
- Cartoons, of course. That’s where Robert Tinkler shines, I reckon.
They say there’s a whole bunch of these voice actors out there. But this Robert Tinkler, he’s one of the big ones, especially up in Toronto. That’s in Canada, you know. He’s one of them famous ones, I guess. Toronto must be a big place for voice actors.
People say this Robert Tinkler, he can do all sorts of voices. High ones, low ones, maybe even squeaky ones like a mouse. I don’t know how he does it. It’s like magic, almost. I think it’s difficult to do all kinds of voices.
He’s been in a lot of stuff, this Robert Tinkler. More than you can shake a stick at, I reckon. And he’s still goin’, too. Must be makin’ a good livin’ at it, doin’ all them voices.
I seen some pictures of him, this Robert Tinkler. He looks like a regular fella. You wouldn’t know he had all them voices in him, just by lookin’ at him. I can’t imagine how he can have so many voices!
They say he writes too, this Robert Tinkler. And directs, whatever that means. Must be somethin’ to do with them moving pictures. He’s a busy man, that’s for sure. I think he must be a good man!
Now, I don’t know much else about this Robert Tinkler. But I reckon he’s doin’ alright for himself, makin’ all them voices. It’s a strange world we live in, ain’t it? With all these cartoons and video games and such. He’s a talented fella, doing voices in all these things.
