Okay, so I’ve been seeing these “snow porsche” pictures all over my feed, and I finally decided to give it a shot. It’s that trend where you, you know, make it look like your toy car is parked in a massive snowdrift. Sounds simple enough, right? Well, let me tell you…

First, I grabbed my son’s toy Porsche. It’s a pretty sweet little model, bright red, classic 911 style. I figured it would look good against the white.
Then came the “snow”. I didn’t want to use real snow because, well, it’s messy and melts. I remembered seeing someone use baking soda, so I raided the pantry. I found a giant box – perfect!
Setting Up The Shot
I cleared a space on the kitchen table, much to my wife’s amusement. I poured out a good amount of the baking soda, trying to make it look like a realistic snowdrift. This took way longer than I expected. I kept adding more, sculpting it with a spoon, trying to get those nice, smooth curves.
Next, I placed the Porsche in the “snow”. Getting the angle right was a pain. I wanted it to look like it was really buried, not just sitting on top. I fiddled with it for ages, pushing it in a bit, then pulling it back out.
The Photography Part
- I used my phone for the pictures. Nothing fancy, just the regular camera app.
- I played around with the lighting. The kitchen lights were too harsh, so I turned them off and used the natural light from the window. Much better!
- I took a ton of pictures from different angles. Low angles, high angles, close-ups, wider shots… you name it, I tried it.
I took about the picture.

After I was done with the picture.I had to clean my kitchen table.
It was not very easy for me .It took me about a hour to clean all of *, I did it.
The Result
Honestly, it turned out pretty cool! The baking soda really does look like snow, and the red Porsche pops against the white. It’s not perfect, but for a first attempt, I’m happy. It was a fun little project, and it definitely gave me a good laugh. Plus, my son thinks I’m a magician now, which is always a bonus.
