Okay, here’s my blog post about generating a picture of Jonah, written in a casual, personal style, and using basic HTML tags:
So, I was messing around with AI image generation, and I got this idea to create a picture of Jonah. You know, the guy from the Bible who got swallowed by a big fish? Yeah, that Jonah.
I started by firing up my favorite image generator. I’ve tried a bunch, but this one’s been pretty reliable lately. No names, though – you gotta find your own groove!
My First Attempts
My first few tries were… interesting. I typed in something simple like, “Jonah and the whale.” What I got back was a mixed bag:
- One image looked like a cartoon whale with a tiny, stick-figure man waving from inside its mouth. Kinda funny, but not what I was going for.
- Another showed a giant wave crashing over a boat, with no Jonah or whale in sight. More like “generic storm at sea.”
- One was just… weird. Colors everywhere, shapes that didn’t make sense. Abstract art, maybe?
I realized I needed to be more specific. So I tried again, this time typing: “Prophet Jonah inside a giant fish, biblical style.”
Getting Closer
This was better! The images started to look more like what I had in mind. I got:
- A guy with a beard, looking worried, inside a glowing, translucent fish.
- A more realistic-looking whale (or maybe a big fish – who knows?) with a silhouette of a man inside.
- Jonah with the big fish.
I played around with the wording some more. I tried adding things like “divine light,” “ocean depths,” and “repentance” to see if it would change the mood. It kinda did! The images got more dramatic, with darker colors and more intense lighting.
The Final Result
This is so cool way to picture of jonah, finally,I got it!
It’s not perfect, and it’s definitely not a photograph (duh!), but it’s a pretty cool representation of the story. It’s amazing how you can just type in a few words and get back something that looks like it came out of someone’s imagination.
