So, I’ve been messing around with this “people golfing” thing. It’s a bit weird, but kinda fun. I heard about it from some friends and thought, “Why not give it a shot?”

First, I tried to find some people who were interested. I asked around my usual circles, but most of them were busy or just not into it. Eventually, I found a few folks online who seemed up for it. We didn’t know each other well, but we were all curious about this golfing thing.
We decided to meet up at a local park. It was a sunny day, perfect for being outside. None of us had ever tried this before, so we were all pretty clueless. We watched a few videos online to get a basic idea, but it was still a bit confusing.
Here’s what we did:
- We tried to find a good spot in the park. Not too crowded, but also not too isolated.
- We practiced our swings. It was awkward at first, but we slowly got the hang of it.
- We tried to hit the “ball” (we were using a frisbee, actually) towards a target. We used a tree as our target.
- We took turns and tried to get the frisbee as close to the tree as possible.
- We laughed a lot. It was pretty silly, but we were having fun.
After a while, we started to get a bit better. Our swings were smoother, and we were hitting the frisbee more accurately. It was actually kind of satisfying to see our progress.
Some thoughts:
- It’s definitely more fun with more people. The more, the merrier!
- It’s a good way to get some exercise and fresh air.
- It’s not as easy as it looks. It takes some practice to get good at it.
- It’s a great way to bond with people and have some laughs.
Overall, it was a fun experience. I’m not sure if I’ll become a regular “people golfer,” but I’m glad I tried it. It’s always good to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new. Who knows, maybe you’ll give it a try sometime! It’s a weird, but enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.
