Alright so yesterday I was watching highlights and suddenly wondered – man how did my Pelicans actually do against Chicago this season? I vaguely remembered some close games but couldn’t recall specifics. Time to dig up the real scores!
Where I Started
First thing I did? Straight up went to Google. Didn’t overthink it – just typed “pelicans bulls games 2024 season” plain and simple.
The Frustrating Part
Man the initial results sucked. Got flooded with:
- Old articles about Zion vs DeRozan from like 2 years ago
- Highlight videos with no scores in titles
- Some betting site predictions – useless
- Generic season schedules without results
Scrolled past three pages feeling annoyed. Almost gave up till I spotted “NBA official website” buried under ads.
The Turning Point
Clicked that NBA site link finally. Bam! Clean layout showing all regular season matchups. Filtered to Pelicans vs Bulls instantly. Saw three games listed:
- Nov 4, 2023 @ Chicago: Bulls 106 – 114 Pelicans (Whew! We took this one)
- Dec 2, 2023 @ New Orleans: Pelicans 124 – 118 Bulls (YES! Another win!)
- Mar 12, 2024 @ Chicago: Pelicans 110 – 125 Bulls (Oof… got smoked here)
Double-checked dates and scores against ESPN’s box scores just to be extra sure. Matched perfectly.
Final Tally
Pelicans won 2 outta 3 games! Super happy with that overall. Honestly surprised myself – totally forgot we dominated that December game. Shoutout to CJ McCollum dropping 29 points in the November win. That March loss stung though – Bulls went nuts from three-point land.
Wrote this all down in my basketball notes app immediately. No way I’m forgetting these matchups again next season!
