Alright, so the other day I was trying to find the OKC 2016 roster, you know, just for fun, to see who was playing back then. It wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it would be!
Digging Around
First, I just did a quick search. I typed in “okc 2016 roster” and figured the answer would pop right up. I got some general info, but it wasn’t exactly what I needed – just bits and pieces, not the full picture.
So, I decided I had to get a little more specific with my searching. I started looking for team pages from that specific season, you know, the kind that lists every player, their position, maybe some stats.
Finding the Right Info
It took a bit of scrolling and clicking through different sports sites. Some of them had old rosters, but they weren’t always complete or they were formatted in a way that was hard to read. I wanted something clean and clear.
I finally found a site that looked promising. It had an archive section, where I could go back year by year. I navigated to the 2016 season, found the Thunder, and boom – there it was! A full list of players.
Putting It All Together
Here’s what I ended up pulling together:
- Guards: Russell Westbrook, Andre Roberson, Cameron Payne, Randy Foye, Dion Waiters.
- Forwards:Kevin Durant, Serge Ibaka, Enes Kanter, Steven Adams, Mitch McGary, Nick Collison, Josh Huestis.

It was actually pretty cool to see all the names. It brought back some memories of watching that team play. Sometimes, it just the fun to find the things that you want.
