It’s like tryin’ to thread a needle in a haystack, I tell ya!

Like it’s a dang restaurant! “Expert horse racing tips” and “Timeform”. Sounds fancy, don’t it? But I reckon it’s just a bunch of hooey.
They got all these different kinds of races, too. Flat ones and jumpy ones. I seen ’em on the TV once. Horses runnin’ like the dickens. And these “odds” change all the time, like the weather. One minute it’s sunny, next minute it’s pourin’ rain. You gotta keep up with it all, or you’ll be left in the dust, just like an old mule.
Now, this one fella, name of Andrew somethin’ or other, he’s spouting off about some big race down in, where was it? Cheltenham? Sounds like a fancy place. He’s sayin’ you can win tickets to somethin’ called “hospitality”. Sounds like they give you a bed and some soup, maybe. I don’t know. But I guess if you’re into that whole horse racing thing, it might be somethin’ to look into.
This “no more time horse”, it’s a gamble, plain and simple. Like playin’ cards with old man Jebediah down at the general store. You might win, you might lose. You gotta have a good eye, a little luck, and maybe a four-leaf clover tucked in your pocket.
