Okay, here’s my experience checking out Harley Davidson in New Bern, NC.
So, I’ve been itching to get a new ride, and I’ve always had a soft spot for Harleys. I heard there was a dealership down in New Bern, so I figured, why not take a road trip and see what they’ve got?
The Drive Down
The drive to New Bern was pretty chill. I cranked up some tunes and just enjoyed the scenery. It’s always good to get out of town for a bit, you know?
Checking Out the Bikes
When I got to the dealership, I was like a kid in a candy store. Rows and rows of shiny new Harleys, all lined up and gleaming. I wandered around for a good hour, just taking it all in. They had everything from Sportsters to those big ol’ touring bikes.
- I spent some time checking out a few Fat Boys. Man, those things are beasts!
- I also looked at few Road Glides. Very temptation, they are beautiful.
- I even sat on a couple, just to get a feel for them.
Talking to the Sales Guy
Eventually, a sales guy came over, and we started chatting. He was a real cool dude, not pushy at all. We talked about what I was looking for, my riding style, and all that. He showed me a few models he thought I might like, and we even talked about some customization options.
No Bike Today, But…
I ended up leaving empty-handed. I just went for information, I am not ready to buy at this time. But I got a good feel for the place and the bikes they offer. I’ll definitely be back when I’m ready to pull the trigger. That Road Glide has my name all over it!
It was a great day trip. A good ride and lots of beautiful machines.
