Man, figuring out the Nebraska basketball schedule was a bit of a doozy today. I’m a huge Huskers fan, and with the new season coming up, I wanted to get all the dates locked into my calendar. You know, gotta plan those watch parties and make sure I don’t miss a single game!
First, I just tried Googling “Nebraska basketball schedule”. Seemed like the obvious place to start, right? I got a bunch of results, but they were all mixed up with old news and articles, I wanted the actual schedule of the 2024-25 season. There are many results about players like Josiah Allick, but I am looking for the 2024-2025 schedule.
So, I refined my search and added the “2024-25 season” in my search keywords. It gave me better results this time. I clicked through to a few of them and started piecing things together. It looks like we open Big Ten play on the road at Michigan State on December 7th. Then we’ve got a couple of home games against Indiana on December 13th and UCLA on January 4th. Big games for sure!
I noticed some sites mentioned that a couple of games would be on Peacock, which is their streaming service. I’ll have to make sure I’m subscribed to that, don’t want to miss any action because I don’t have the right channel.
One of the sites, had the schedule in a pretty simple format, just the dates, opponents, and times. They even had this cool feature where you could tap on the time, and it would adjust to your local timezone, so if you’re traveling or watching from a different part of the country, you’re all set. I copied that schedule to my notebook. I wanted to jot down the key games. The Dec 30 game against Southern U, the Jan 4 game against an opponent still to be announced, and the Jan 7 game at Iowa. That one’s gonna be a tough road game.
After comparing a couple of different sites, I finally felt like I had a good handle on the full schedule. I grabbed my calendar and started marking down all the dates. It took a little time to get it all organized. I’m feeling pretty good about it now, though. I’m all set for the season, and I can’t wait for tip-off! Go Big Red!
- December 30, 2024: vs Southern U. at 9:00 pm on BTN. It’s in Pinnacle Bank Arena.
- January 4, 2025: vs another team at 2:00 pm on FOX. It’s also in Pinnacle Bank Arena.
- January 7, 2025: We’re playing away against Iowa at 8:00 pm on PEAC. This one is at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
