My Golf Locker Review From A Real User: My thoughts after trying the service myself.

Alright, so I decided to check out this My Golf Locker service I kept hearing about. Seemed kinda interesting, getting golf clothes sent to you. So, I went ahead and started the process.

My Golf Locker Review From A Real User: My thoughts after trying the service myself.

Getting Started

First thing I did was go to their site and sign up. They make you fill out this thing they call a ‘Patron Profile’. It’s basically a questionnaire. Asked about my sizes, what kind of styles I like, you know, typical stuff. Do I like bright colors or plain? Modern fit or relaxed? That sort of thing. Took a few minutes to click through it all.

One part I paid attention to was setting the budget. They ask you straight up how much you’re comfortable spending each time they send you a box, a ‘Locker’ they call it. I put in a number I felt okay with. Didn’t want them sending me super expensive stuff I wouldn’t buy anyway. Seemed like a good way to control things from the start.

Receiving and Trying

After that, I just waited. Took a little while, then the first box showed up at my door. Was kinda curious to see what they picked based on my answers. Opened it up. Inside there were a few items – I think it was a polo shirt, a pair of shorts, and maybe a light pullover or something.

So, I took the stuff out and tried it all on right there at home. The polo fit pretty well, actually. Decent quality, color was alright. The shorts, though, weren’t quite right for me. Fit was a bit off, and the style wasn’t really my thing. The pullover was okay, but I wasn’t sure if I needed it.

Keeping and Returning

Here’s how it works: you try everything on, decide what you like, and only pay for those items. Anything you don’t want, you just send back. I decided I’d keep the polo shirt because I genuinely liked it and knew I’d wear it.

The shorts and the pullover, I decided to return. The process for sending stuff back was simple enough. They usually include a return bag or label, something like that. I just packed the items I didn’t want back into the packaging, sealed it up, and dropped it off to be shipped back. Didn’t cost me anything to send it back, which was good.

My Thoughts on It

Later on, I got charged just for the polo shirt I kept. The price matched what was on the invoice included in the box. It felt straightforward.

Overall, the experience was pretty decent. It was convenient not having to go to a store. Filling out the profile was easy, and setting my own budget upfront was a big plus. You really control the cost because you tell them your price range, and then you only buy what you actually like from the box.

  • Convenience: Got clothes delivered to my door. Saved a trip to the mall.
  • Personalization: The profile helped them get my size right on the shirt, at least. Style is always hit or miss.
  • Cost Control: Setting a budget and only paying for kept items felt fair. If you decide you don’t want anything they send, you just return it all, no charge.

It’s not like I’ll use it for all my clothes shopping, but for finding a few new golf things without the hassle? Yeah, I could see myself doing it again sometime. It worked out okay this first time around.
