First off, I had to figure out when this whole thing was happening. Turns out, it was from June 10th to June 16th. Perfect timing, right? It’s called the Boss Open, and apparently, it’s a pretty big deal in the tennis world—part of the ATP Tour 250 series. Fancy stuff!
Next up, I started digging around to see where I could catch all the action. Found out that the Tennis Club Weissenhof was the place to be. So, I marked it down, this is where I need to go.
Now, I’m not the biggest tennis fanatic, but I do enjoy a good match. I went online to check out who was playing. It mentioned something about a guy named Marin Cilic beating the top seed, Denis Shapovalov. Sounded intense, and I was getting pretty hyped about seeing some live matches.
I dove into the schedule, trying to plan out which days I could make it. There were matches all week, but I had some other stuff to do, you know, life. But I was determined to catch at least a couple of games.

And hey, between matches, I took a stroll around the grounds. Nice place, really well-maintained. Plenty of food stalls, too, so you won’t go hungry. And let’s not forget the merch. T-shirts, caps, you name it. I might have picked up a little something for myself. Don’t judge me!

All in all, it was a fantastic experience. If you ever get the chance to go to a live tennis event, especially something like the MercedesCup, I highly recommend it. It’s a whole different vibe from watching it on TV. Trust me on this one.
