Looking for Where to Watch the Chivas Game? Check This Out!

Alright, so you wanna know where to watch the Chivas game, huh? It ain’t rocket science, but let me tell ya, it can be confusing with all this newfangled technology. Back in my day, you just went to the stadium or listened on the radio. Now, it’s all about the internet and these “streaming” thingamajigs.

Looking for Where to Watch the Chivas Game? Check This Out!

First off, if you’re lookin’ to watch Chivas de Guadalajara play, you gotta figure out if it’s a regular season game or some special match. Like, is it part of the LigaMX, or maybe one of them friendly matches they play over in the States? I heard tell they played in Houston once, that NRG Stadium. Big place, I reckon.

Now, where to actually see the game…

  • One place they show the games is on somethin’ called Peacock. Sounds like a bird, but it’s one of them streaming services. They show the LigaMX games sometimes, so you might get lucky there.
  • Then there’s ESPN. Now, ESPN, that’s been around a while. They got all sorts of sports. They got this ESPN+ thing too, which I hear shows even more games. Sometimes they even stream the games live, like that Mazatlán FC versus Chivas game. They even got soccer from other places, like Spain and Germany, whatever them places are called.

I ain’t too sure how all these streaming things work, but my grandkids tell me you gotta pay for ’em. It’s like buyin’ a ticket to the game, but you watch it on your TV or your phone. Can you believe that? Watchin’ a game on a tiny little phone! What will they think of next?

They also tell me there’s all sorts of these streaming services. Some just show movies and shows, others got live TV, and some got both. Sounds like a lot of choices, if you ask me. Too many choices, if you ask me. They even say there’s somethin’ called “The Top 10 Best Streaming Services of 2024”. Who makes these lists, I wonder? And why ten? Why not five or twenty?

And get this, Chivas got a new home in Mexico starting this Apertura 2024. Don’t rightly know what that means, but I guess it’s important for the fans. Maybe they play more games there now, or maybe it’s just a new stadium. Who knows.

Looking for Where to Watch the Chivas Game? Check This Out!

Anyways, if you wanna watch the Chivas game, you gotta find out where it’s being broadcast first. Check the TV listings, or go online. My grandkids are always lookin’ things up online. Just type in “Chivas game schedule” or somethin’ like that. And don’t go lookin’ at those dodgy websites, ya hear? The ones with all the pop-ups and such. Stick to the big names, like ESPN or those other streaming fellas.

And remember, these games ain’t always free. You gotta pay for the cable or the streaming service, or whatever. It ain’t like the old days when you could just turn on the radio and listen for free. Everything costs money these days, even watchin’ a soccer game, or whatever they call it, football? Ftbol? Makes my head spin.

So, to sum it up, here’s what you gotta do:

  1. Figure out when Chivas is playin’.
  2. Find out where the game is bein’ shown (Peacock, ESPN, etc.).
  3. Make sure you got the right subscription or cable package.
  4. Then sit back and enjoy the game. Hopefully, Chivas wins!

And if you can’t figure it out, ask one of them young folks. They seem to know everything about this internet stuff. Me? I’ll stick to my radio, thank you very much. Unless Chivas is playing on a Saturday night, then that Pachuca versus Chivas game might be a good one to watch, even if I have to ask little Timmy to show me how to use that “Pea-cock” thing.
