Okay, so I woke up this morning and the first thing that popped into my head was, “Is the Brazil women’s match today?” Felt like it should be soon, you know?

First thing I did, still half-asleep, grabbed my phone. Just typed it straight into the search bar. You know how it is, just raw thought onto the screen: brazil women match today time. Got a bunch of results, some looked like ads, some like news sites. Too much noise early in the morning.
Trying to find the real deal
So, I thought, maybe a proper sports app would be better. Opened up the one I use sometimes. Scrolled through the football section. Saw the men’s league stuff, international games, but finding the specific women’s match? Took some digging.
- Clicked on ‘International’.
- Then had to find ‘Women’s’.
- Looked for Brazil.
Found it! But then, the time zone thing always gets me. Said something like 8 PM. But is that my time? Or Brazil time? Or the host country time? Ugh. Why can’t they just make it simple?
Then I remembered my buddy Marco is a huge Brazil fan. Figured I’d just shoot him a text. Much easier than trying to decode these websites and apps. So, I typed out, “Hey man, Brazil women playing today? What time for us?”
Waiting game…

He took a while to reply. Probably busy. So I went and made some coffee. Stared out the window. Thought about previous games, that one goal Marta scored way back when. Good times.
Finally, my phone buzzed. Marco: “Yeah! 9 PM our time. Channel XYZ.” Simple. Perfect. See? Sometimes just asking someone is the quickest way. Forget all the searching and clicking around. Took me like, 20 minutes of messing about online versus one text message.
So yeah, got my answer. Match is on tonight. Now I just gotta make sure I remember later!
