So, the other day, I found myself needing some pics of Joey Logano. Don’t ask why, just one of those things that pops up, you know? Maybe for a little project I was tinkering with, or perhaps I just saw something that reminded me of a race.
Anyway, first thing I did, obviously, was hop onto my computer. Fired up the usual search engine thing. Typed in the basics: “pics of joey logano”. Bam! Loads of images popped up, like you’d expect. Lots of the standard stuff, him smiling, holding trophies, the usual promo shots. It was okay, but kinda generic.
Digging a Bit Deeper
Most of those first results were the same ones you see everywhere. I needed something a bit more specific, maybe some action shots from a particular season, or even just better quality ones. So, I started trying different search phrases. Things like:
- joey logano racing action shots
- joey logano win celebration photos
- joey logano specific year photos
That helped narrow it down a bit. Started seeing some different angles, some more candid stuff from the track. Still had to sift through a lot, though. It’s amazing how many low-quality or watermarked images are out there.
I then tried looking around on some sports news places online. You know, the sites that cover races. Sometimes they have galleries from the events. That was a bit better for finding pictures from actual races, not just the staged stuff. Found a few decent ones there, captured some real moments during the competition.
Sorting Through the Haul
Spent a good chunk of time just scrolling and clicking, opening tabs. You get into a rhythm, scanning quickly. Quality was key for me. If it was blurry or tiny, I just skipped it. Also looked for pictures that weren’t plastered with huge logos right across his face, if possible.
It wasn’t exactly rocket science, just took patience. I remember finding a whole bunch from one particular race that looked promising, but then realizing they were all kinda the same shot from slightly different angles. Annoying. You gotta really look close sometimes.
Eventually, after maybe an hour or so of this digital digging, I managed to pull together a decent collection. Got a mix of action shots, some pit stop stuff, and a couple of good celebration pics. Exactly what I needed for my little thing.
It always takes longer than you think, doesn’t it? You figure, “Oh, I’ll just grab a few quick pictures,” and next thing you know, you’ve gone down a rabbit hole comparing different photos of the same guy in the same car. But hey, got ’em in the end. Job done.
