Does the winger getting forward more mean our fullbacks can actually breathe sometimes? Or will they still be exposed?
If the tall defender works out, it lets the other center-back maybe play a bit more football instead of just panic clearing.
Busy midfielder slots in – does that free up Ndidi to just break up play like he used to, or Maddison to just create chaos? Or does he tread on their toes?
Started thinking about pre-season training clips. Are they actually linking up? Do they look confused or like they get it? Hard to tell from two-minute clips.
Predictions (Probably Wrong)
Here’s the thing, right? You never really know until the whistle blows on a cold Tuesday night at some rainy stadium.
If they gel fast? Could be huge. Plug those gaps we saw last season, maybe push for Europe again. Proper fairy tale stuff.
But chances are… they’ll take time. Injuries happen. Players adapt slow. That winger might hate English weather. The tall defender might be bullied by some seasoned Premier League striker.
Honestly? Expecting a lot of early frustration. Fans will groan. Pundits will slag them off. It’s the Leicester way lately.
