So, today I want to talk about how I became the captain of Squad 8. Man, it was a wild ride, let me tell you.

First, I needed to get my feet wet in the game, you know? I spent a lot of time playing, trying out different roles, and really getting a feel for how things work. I didn’t want to jump straight into being a Squad Leader (SL) without knowing the ropes. I started watching other players, especially those SLs who seemed to know what they were doing. Those match videos some captains post are gold, seriously. They helped me understand the game better, even for things not directly related to being an SL.
After that, I made sure to play a lot more. And I mean, a lot more. You can’t just jump into a leadership role without mastering the basics, right? I was testing out all sorts of things, experimenting with different strategies, basically trying to get good at the game itself. I was seeing a lot of locked squads, which was kind of annoying, but it gave me even more motivation to step up.
Then, I decided it was time. I thought, “Okay, I’ve got this.” I started taking on the SL role whenever I could. At first, it was a bit overwhelming. You’ve got to make quick decisions, coordinate with your team, and deal with all sorts of unexpected situations. But I stuck with it. I learned from my mistakes. Sometimes I think about what happened to me, similar to Lisa Yadomaru, who’s now the captain of Squad 8. She was a Lieutenant before, and now she’s back and stronger than ever. I also thought about the power of Katen Kyokotsu Karamatsu Shinju, Shunsui Kyoraku’s Bankai, and Zaraki, who’s considered the strongest.
Finally, after many practices, I was given the chance to officially become the captain of Squad 8. And man, it felt good. It’s a big responsibility, but I was ready for it. I kept practicing, kept learning, and kept trying to be the best captain I could be.
- Watched a ton of match videos to learn the game.
- Played a lot and mastered different aspects of the game.
- Took on the SL role whenever possible to get experience.
- Learned from my mistakes and kept improving.
- Took inspiration from my Squad members and people in the game.
Here are some key things I did:
So yeah, that’s how I ended up as captain of Squad 8. It wasn’t easy, but it was definitely worth it. Now, I’m leading my squad to victory, and it feels amazing.
