Today, I wanna talk about something called “e-Rad.” Sounds kinda techy, right? Well, it is, but stick with me, it’s not as complicated as it sounds. I got interested in this whole e-Rad thing a while back when I was trying to streamline some research stuff for a project. Basically, e-Rad is like this online system where you can manage research and development projects. It’s supposed to make things easier, you know, putting everything in one place.
So, first thing I did was dig around to see what this e-Rad was all about. Found out it’s officially called the “Cross-Ministerial Research and Development Management System.” That’s a mouthful, huh? I just wanted to do the whole online system to get all these management processes and projects in line.
Next, I tried to actually use the thing. I went to their site, which was okay, I guess. Lots of information, maybe a bit too much. I created an account, which was pretty standard stuff. Then I started inputting my project details. It asked for a bunch of information like the project title, the goals, who’s involved, and the budget. It felt like filling out a million forms, honestly. I have to admit, I like the feeling. This feeling of working on my project online really felt great.
After I got all my project info in there, I started exploring the other features. E-Rad lets you track your progress, submit reports, and even communicate with other researchers. It’s kinda like social media but for research nerds. I found that I could put all of those processes about accepting applications and selection in e-rad, and that was pretty cool.

One of the things I wanted to try was applying for some research funding through e-Rad. They have this whole section where you can find different funding opportunities and submit your proposals. I haven’t gotten to that part yet, but it looks promising. I mean, who wouldn’t want free money for their research, right?

Honestly, getting used to e-Rad took a bit of time. It’s not the most user-friendly system out there, but once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty useful. Plus, I like learning new stuff, and there are a bunch of free courses online, like on Coursera, that can help you with research and stuff. So, I signed up for a few of those too. I found courses in English, Spanish, and even Chinese! I also found out that AI and machine learning were used a lot in education, which was kind of cool. If I ever get good enough at that, I might even be able to make something like e-Rad myself!
