Okay, so I wanted to figure out how much money I’d sunk into League of Legends. You know, just for fun… and maybe a little bit of self-inflicted pain. It’s one of those things you kinda don’t want to know, but you also really want to know, you feel me?

Finding the Secret Button
First, I went on a little hunt. I figured there had to be a way to check this, because, well, Riot Games definitely knows how much I’ve spent. they had to give me the chance to check my spend, right?
I did search about the topic, and found out that Riot actually has a specific page for this. I had gone to that specific support page. I felt like I was about to open Pandora’s Box.
The Moment of Truth
The page itself is super simple. It’s basically just a login screen and a big, scary button that says something like “Show Me the Money!” (Okay, it might not say exactly that, but that’s the vibe it gives off). I put my account’s username and password, took a deep breath, and clicked the button.
The amount spent on my account is shown. Damn, that’s… a number, alright. It’s probably best if I don’t share the exact figure here, My wife will find this article and she will beat me up. Let’s just say it’s enough to make me question some of my life choices, but the skins makes me play the game much better and much more fun.
My Reaction
My first reaction was to see how much I’ve spent in total and that the amount got tracked. I didn’t regret it, though. I mean, sure, I could have probably bought something practical with that money, but hey, those skins though, right? And I’ve had a ton of fun playing the game over the years, so I am counting it as a worthwhile investment.

It’s like one of those things you should check, but don’t check too often. Like weighing yourself. It’s good to know, but you don’t want to obsess over it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go play some League. Gotta get my money’s worth, after all!
