Okay, so I’ve been trying to get a good system for tracking Novak Djokovic’s scores, and I think I finally cracked it. I wanted something simple, you know? Nothing too fancy, just the basics.

First, I brainstormed what I really needed. Just the scores, right? And maybe the opponent and the tournament. Date would be nice too. I didn’t want to get bogged down in stats, just the core info.
My Simple Setup
I started with a plain old spreadsheet. I’m not a spreadsheet wizard or anything, but it seemed like the easiest way to go.
- Column 1: Date. Pretty self-explanatory.
- Column 2: Tournament. Just the name, like “Wimbledon” or “US Open”.
- Column 3: Opponent. Again, just the name.
- Column 4: Score. The whole shebang, like “6-4, 7-6, 6-2”.
I filled it in with some recent matches I could remember. It was kinda messy at first, just jotting things down as I found them. Then I spent some time Googling around, finding official match results to make sure I had everything right. It took a bit of digging, but it wasn’t too bad.
After I got a bunch of matches in there, I started to see how it could be useful. I could quickly look up how he did in a particular tournament last year, or check his record against a specific player. It’s all right there!
It’s definitely a work in progress. I might add some color-coding later, maybe green for wins and red for losses, just to make it easier to scan. And I’ll need to keep updating it after every match, of course. But for now, it’s doing exactly what I need it to do. It is simple way.
